Nested more than 400 meters above the Agly valley and the Têt valley, our plots in appellation Côtes-du-Roussillon Villages Caramany benefit from the Tramontane (Northern wind) that cleanses our plants allowing us to grow them in an eco-responsible way.

We practice sustainable agriculture while converting to organic. We make sure the balance of natural elements is kept by choosing low yields to obtain concentrated berries with rich and complexe flavours. Our production methods let the terroir give us its best with rich cuvée similar to no other.
NESTED IN THE HEART OF ROUSSILLON
Between the Pyreneans and the Mediterranean sea, the village of Cassagnes grants us breathtaking panoramas on the surrounding plains. Lush landscapes of garrigues, lagoons and vineyards as far as the eye can see, all held in a subtle balance. Between lands and the sea, our region offers exceptional terroirs with valleys, hot and sunny weather all of which give our wines strength and character.
CASSAGNES : PRESERVED AUTHENTICITY
The name Cassagnes originates from “Cass”, an oak grove. In Occitan the name becomes “Cassanhes”. This village of the Fenouillèdes region is first mentioned in 889 under the name “Cassanias”. The name then disappears during the higher Middle-Age. We guess it was only a small farming parish with no wall or castle. A land of modest origins that managed to keep its authenticity throughout the centuries. Today Cassagnes is actively participating in the renewal of Caramany wines with deep, genuine and timeless terroir wines.
