ENCLAVE DE LUNE
The Enclave de Lune cuvée differs from the other Clos 58 cuvées (Les Koudou and Sérum de Vie) in that it is produced from younger plots (between 15 and 30 years old) at mid-altitude (250-300m), harvested earlier (early to mid-September) to retain the freshness of the fruit and an alcohol content of around 13°. The grapes are always vinified on a parcel-by-parcel basis and the Syrah-Carignan blend is predominantly Carignan. L'Enclave de Lune is a wine to be enjoyed young, a wine full of fruit, with good acidity, a frank roundness and a brilliant colour... its delicacy will seduce you, to be drunk chilled at around 16-17°C with white meats, for example. The Enclave de Lune cuvée is one of the excellent wines produced by Clos 58. We hope you enjoy discovering and tasting it.
