ORIGINE FAUVE

This cuvée was born out of a simple desire: to let time take its course and to rediscover, in a Rivesaltes Ambré Hors d’Âge, something deeply connected to our land, our cellar and the history of Clos 58.

Origin, because this wine takes us back to the roots of the Roussillon, to an ancient tradition, to those wines that are patiently laid down and rediscovered years later, transformed by the passage of time.

Fauve, because it is first and foremost a colour. The colour of amber, mahogany, dark honey and the evening light on the stones of the Roussillon.

A deep amber colour with coppery highlights, immediately appealing. The nose reveals notes of dried fruit, candied orange peel, nuts and gentle spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, silky and perfectly balanced between richness and freshness. The long, elegant finish reveals hints of delicate caramel and precious wood. A Rivesaltes Hors d’Âge of great depth, to be savoured slowly, served slightly chilled.
